First, we agree on the terms of the process, and we sign the contract.
-
The first payment is made by bank wire transfer. If we don't have the payment, we are not allowed to do nothing.
-
You choose the donor and surrogate in case we can choose a primary and an emergency surrogate in both cases donor and surrogate.
-
We start with the treatment of both at the same time in the IVF clinic. Both will reside in Guatemala City so that they have their full treatment and do not miss any appointments and that there is an absolute control of the laboratory for both, donor and surrogate and we check that everything is going as expected.
-
The retrieval is done to the egg donor in about a month after begging the treatment and with it, we can fertilize with the sperm already frozen in Guatemala previously. We can do a biopsy on the third day to the embryos to make a PGTA test that takes about 20 days to give results to verify the chromosomes of the embryos and gender and verify that they are in perfect condition, this is an additional payment of approximately $ 3500 is not mandatory but if it is recommended test to be sure that everything is perfect is made directly to the clinic that make these tests,
-
When we get the embryos, the first embryo transfer will be performed after approximately 10 days we know if there is pregnancy or not, if it is positive congratulations, if it is negative the surrogate is subjected to treatment again and in approximately 25 days after the second transfer will be performed, hoping to get pregnant, if not pregnant we have the option of another surrogate without extra charge and that enters and make a third treatment.
-
After we have confirmed the pregnancy, an ultrasound and video are sent to the parents with a successful pregnancy report.
-
At approximately 8 to 9 weeks, the baby is given the heartbeat, if everything is perfect, a video report is sent to the parents and the parents must make the second payment to the agency to be able to support the mother throughout the pregnancy.
-
At 30 weeks, the last payment will be made, which will be used to help the surrogate mother for her support and collaboration during the process and payment of the hospital and legal payments.
-
At the time of birth, the birth of the baby is registered in the Guatemalan registry of persons with the name of the biological father and the surrogate mother who will then go together with the biological father to the American embassy to carry out the birth registration process of the baby and process the passport accompanied at all times by agency staff at the embassy, for the birth certification and the baby's passport.
